Guests and Tours
Our small community and extensive food forest that forms the backbone of our permaculture site offers a great place to learn through our courses, coming to volunteer or simply for a tour. We have a plethora of permaculture examples on display and a small crew of people dedicated to education at this site and beyond. We offer open days for people to visit and host courses also so people can learn through the site and meet the people and their stories that are behind it.
While our site can handle quite a lot of people in the summer, its design includes a closing of the land for winter so that it can have rest and we can focus on other projects from music production to permaculture educational material generation and lots more. Our site has limited indoor space and energy production during our cold and rainy winters and we come together as a community to keep the site rolling rather than pushing the limits too much through hosting during these inward months. Thus for this next five months of November through March our doors are closed unless an open day is organized. We will post these if they arise. Stay tuned for our course posting and volunteer opportunity posting for spring.
Please note we are not a drop in project were you can come without contact in advance.
